Restaurant Alliance of Westchester (RAW) is a collaborative effort raising the revenue, marketing, and creativity of its members. We are committed to improving staffing, promoting discussion, and encouraging collaboration in the food industry on a county level.

FOUNDER

For the past 12 years, Kate Schlientz has been an advocate for the restaurant industry in Westchester County. Through her media company, IntoxiKate.com, she created various outlets to help tell the local story authentically, including a radio show/podcast, video, an online magazine, local events, social media, and more. After hearing from many chefs and restaurant owners, Kate made the shift towards a more hands-on approach to telling the local story. She created RAW to help restaurants on a broader level and truly believes a collaboration is the way to change.

Restaurant Alliance of Westchester (RAW) is a collaborative effort raising the revenue, marketing, and creativity of its members. RAW is committed to improving staffing, promoting discussion, and encouraging collaboration in the food industry on a county level.

RAW works on a hyper-local level, working directly with county and local town governments, partners, and media outlets to increase revenue for its members, acquire new customers, provide marketing opportunities, and change the conversation about food in Westchester County.

Our founder and board members are Westchester change-makers, are invested in our local community, and offer a variety of experience in many areas of the food industry. 

Memberships are available for those in the food and beverage industry in 

Westchester County including restaurants, fast-casual eateries, bakeries, ice cream shops, coffee shops, and more. We also have membership opportunities for wholesalers, food and beverage distributors, and those who offer professional services.

Currently, there are three membership types available: 

Restaurant Chef and/or Owner: Stay up-to-date on the latest industry news, resources, marketing opportunities, and events. Post job listings for free to local, qualified candidates.

Restaurant Staff: Learn about the latest job opportunities from RAW member restaurants and connect with fellow industry professionals.

Restaurant Partners: Advertise your local product(s) or service to RAW members.

Memberships are year-long subscriptions and can be renewed one year from your original sign-on date.
